World Parkinson’s Day 2023
World Parkinson’s Day will be held on 11 April 2023. It’s an International Day of Recognition to raise awareness of Parkinson’s Disease and its impact on people with Parkinson’s, their carers, families, and loved ones.
Our aim for this World Parkinson’s Day is to increase public awareness about the early warning signs of Parkinson’s and encourage people to seek professional advice if they are experiencing any symptoms.
To celebrate, we are lighting up Queensland in purple on Tuesday the 11th of April in support of Parkinson’s.
If you are in the below areas, please tag us on your social media posts and/or stories (IG: @Parkinsonsqld, FB Parkinsons QLD) and use the hashtags #WorldParkinsonsDay and #MakeParkinsonsaPriority.
