Volunteers

We Need You

Parkinson’s Queensland Inc. (PQI) would not be able to provide its support services without its volunteers. The members of the PQI Management Committee, the support group facilitators, the regional advocates, the people who help at conferences, fundraising events and awareness days and others willing to share their stories are all volunteers. They have been impacted by Parkinson’s disease in some way whether that be diagnosed, caring, or living with Parkinson’s and want to give back and make a difference.

We have a place for you too, no skills or experience required, just a willingness to give your time and energy to help so that PQI can continue to provide much needed support and information to the thousands of Queenslanders affected by Parkinson’s each year.

We value and recognise the importance of our volunteers and the vital contributions they make to Parkinson’s Queensland’s work.

Volunteers can be involved in a number of ways with us including:

  • Administrative and office duties
  • Events
  • Coordinate a support group
  • Event hosts and Ambassadors
  • Health professionals
  • Marketing and PR
