Toowoomba Support Group Enjoys Dance for Parkinson’s Australia Session
03 February 2026
Parkinson’s Queensland would like to extend a warm thank you to the members of our Toowoomba Support Group for inviting Kristine to join them at a recent Dance for Parkinson’s Australia class on 3 February.
Held at DeMolay Hall, 90 Margaret Street, Toowoomba, the session was a wonderful example of how movement, music and community connection can support wellbeing for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.
A special thank you goes to Support Group Coordinator Carol, along with her husband Joe, and dedicated group members Patricia and Jan, whose ongoing commitment helps create such a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone involved.
Programs like Dance for Parkinson’s highlight the positive impact that creative activities and peer support can have. Not only physically, but emotionally and socially as well. It was fantastic to see the Toowoomba community coming together, sharing experiences and enjoying time together in such an uplifting setting.
