Queensland Ballet Dance for Parkinson’s Classes

Delivered in partnership with Dance for Parkinson’s Australia
Dance for Parkinson’s classes:  Saturdays 11:45am – 1:00pm at Thomas Dixon Centre. Address: 406 Montague Rd, West End QLD 4101

Established in 2013 and based on the internationally recognised Dance for PD® program, Queensland Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s program helps participants reconnect with their power and grace in classes that focus on fitness, fun and creativity.  These social classes concentrate on possibility, rather than limitations, as participants explore different movement patterns and energies.  Research studies have found that Dance for Parkinson’s classes affect people living with Parkinson’s in valuable ways – including physical, emotional, social and cognitive benefits.
Detailed information on Queensland Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s classes can be found here.
If you’re unable to attend in person or wish to delve deeper into the program
before your first visit, you can explore an online Dance for Parkinson’s class here.
