Research into Headband for Frozen Gait
A potential new device (headband) for People with Parkinson’s who suffer from frozen gait. The headband device monitors changes in brain activity and emits either a sound or a vibration several seconds before a freeze which alerts the wearer to stop and hold onto something.
There is a study is being done by Professor Simon Lewis at Sydney University and people interested in participating in trials can send an email to [email protected]
