Parkinson’s Queensland adopts the registered charity tick
The Australian Charities and Not For Profits Commission (ACNC) has developed the Tick of Charity Registration (the Registered Charity Tick) for registered charities to show the public that they are registered with the ACNC. The Registered Charity Tick aims to give reassurance to the public that registered charities are transparent and accountable by highlighting their presence on the ACNC Charity Register.
Registered charities are not required to use the Registered Charity Tick, however Parkinson’s Queensland believes this is an important step in continuing to communicate effectively and with transparency and openness to both our members and the public. The tick (and link to the ACNC Charity Register) can be found on our website in the right hand menu bar of our webpages.
The ACNC will officially launch the Registered Charity Tick to the public on 14 December 2016. The launch will be supported by a range of advertising and marketing activity to make sure the public is aware of the Tick. Parkinson’s Queensland is proud to take part in the initiative.
