Professor Sandy Brauer is a Physiotherapist with an extensive research background researching physiotherapy assessment techniques and rehabilitation strategies to understand and improve balance and gait in older adults and those with Neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease. Sandy is currently the Head of School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Queensland. In this presentation Sandy will present the current evidence for exercise as a method of maintaining and improving physical activity and improving movement function for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
