1,000,000 Steps Ahead of Parkinson’s – 22nd of April 2023

This April, Prestige Inhome Care will be helping us improve the lives of individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease with their inaugural 1,000,000 Steps Ahead of Parkinson’s fundraiser. The event brings together a group of passionate advocates of various occupations, who will embark on a multi-day hike In the Sunshine Coast on the Friday the 21st of April. They will navigate through some of the Sunshine Coasts’ steepest but most scenic terrain to symbolize the difficult journey faced by someone newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Come join us as we welcome the group back from their journey on the 22nd of April at Mapleton Hall at 12PM. 

All the funds raised will go towards much-needed resources for the local Sunshine Coast Parkinson’s community.

50% of these funds will help Parkinson’s Queensland support early diagnosed patients understand the key things they can do to help slow the progression of their condition, ultimately improving their quality of life by ‘getting ahead’ of Parksinson’s!

The remaining 50% raised will help Restoring Hope Parkinson’s Therapy with funding for a local Parkinson’s Health Clinic.
