Share Your Gift with Parkinson’s Queensland

“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to share it.” Pablo Picasso

Parkinson’s is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder, affecting approximately 10 million people worldwide. Its symptoms—tremors, muscular stiffness, speech difficulties, and loss of balance—vary widely among individuals, affecting both young and old in different ways.

At Parkinson’s Queensland Inc. (PQI), we rely on the dedication of our members and volunteers to deliver crucial support services. From our Management Committee to support group facilitators, regional advocates, event helpers, and storytellers, every role is vital. Without the passion and commitment of Queenslanders like you, our work wouldn’t be possible.

In short, we can’t help the Queenslanders who need it the most without Queenslanders like you.

Now, we need your help more than ever.

We’re seeking creative, driven individuals from across Queensland to join our Management Committee and volunteer network. We have general positions available, and we’ll soon be searching for a new President to lead our mission forward. Whether you’re a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, or simply someone with a passion for making a difference, we believe there’s a place for you at PQI.

If you’re ready to contribute your time, skills, and energy to support the thousands of Queenslanders affected by Parkinson’s, we encourage you to explore these opportunities.
