ABC Radio’s Kelly Higgins Devine to moderate World Parkinson’s Day Event in Brisbane
World Parkinson’s Day on 11th April is a key date in the calendar of all who are connected to Parkinson’s disease whether they be diagnosed, partners, spouse, carers, friends or family. This year is no different for the Parkinson’s Queensland family where all are engaged in our Annual A Walk in the Park and the Luncheon event at which Awards will be presented to PhD candidates to assist them to travel to the World Congress in Kyoto in early June.
Over the years PQI and researchers have grown close associations with ABC Radio and it is with great pride that we can advise that ABC Radio’s ‘Evenings’ Presenter Kelly Higgins Devine has agreed to moderate the James Parkinson Oration event to be held in Brisbane on World Parkinson’s Day.
